Favicon generator

How to use

Pick one image (512×512 px or larger is best). You get favicon.ico, PNG icons for browser tabs, the Home Screen and an installed app, plus site.webmanifest, in one ZIP. Your image never leaves this page.

Or drag an image onto this box.

Manifest

Address bar, and theme_color in the manifest.

Splash screen, and the fill used when the box below is ticked.

Icons keep their transparent pixels unless this is on. The Home Screen icon usually looks cleaner with a solid background.

  • With this off, transparent pixels stay transparent. A Home Screen icon looks cleaner on a solid background.

Tags for your pages

Unzip the files into your site's root folder, then paste these into the page head. Paths start at the root. start_url, scope and display in the manifest are / and standalone; edit those if the site should not install that way.
